The system is equipped with innovative torsion ultrasonic technology, in which the energy is directed perpendicularly (at an angle of 90°) to the axis of the blade. This energy is generated transversely to the instrument, thereby reducing energy loss due to scattering, unlike traditional instruments with longitudinal ultrasound technology. It is because of this that unwanted output of distal energy is reduced.
CONVENTIONAL ULTRASONIC INSTRUMENT
The energy passes in a linear direction, which leads to its dissipation at the tip of the tool. Its accidental distal penetration into the tissue is possible.
Dissecting Shears
The unique, torsional ultrasonic energy enables the surgeon to control the tissue eff ect depending on the power level and the jaw closing force applied. Through the trigger pressure, the user can directly influence the degree of haemostasis and cutting speed. Fine, curved jaws for opening and visualization of tissue layers.
Liver Resector
Optimised for efficient coagulation and dissection of the liver parenchyma. Torsion ultrasound can be used to dissect the parenchyma to expose, skeletalise and isolate structures in the liver bed.
